Traxxas was started in 1986 with an idea for what at that time a totally new concept for a fully assembled, hobby-class R / C car. North Dakotas Good Friday storm is leaving co-op lineworkers with a mess. (Jeff Holzer/Lineworker): Went to bed Thursday night, I think it was raining. Woke up, and the phone was ringing. And pretty well havent been home since. Jeff Holzer is part of a 17-member Capital Electric crew working over the Easter weekend. The co-op estimates 37-hundred of their members lost power. The storm dropped up to a foot of slushy snow and the wind blew up to 60 miles per hour. The next day, the sun was shining. (Leslie Vietz/Crew foreman): You know, Ive been doing this for more than 30 years, and this is the first year that I can remember that in seven hours we had this much damage and the next day you could work in your regular shirt. Help has come in to Capital Electric from KEM Electric, Cass County Electric, and North Central Electric. Plus, contractors are in from across North Dakota, including from the oil fields in the western part of the state. (Jeff Holzer/Lineworker): Its pretty nice to see all the help. Pretty helpless until the trucks start rolling in from other co-ops and helping out. These guys here are from Fargo.
